Understand the Past. Change the Pattern. Move Forward.

I work with adults and adolescents who recognize that experiences from their past continue to influence how they think, feel, relate, or respond in the present. Allow me to help you understand how past experiences continue to shape the present- and create room for something different.

About

My Philosophy...

I have always viewed opportunities to learn something about ourselves as gifts. Counseling can provide an opportunity to better understand the beliefs, behaviors, patterns, and relationships that may no longer be contributing to your well-being. You may be feeling stuck, dissatisfied with an important relationship, navigating a difficult transition, or simply realizing that something in your life needs to change. I see counseling as a collaborative process of gaining insight, recognizing what is and is not working, and discovering new ways of thinking, responding, and relating. My goal is to help you build on your strengths, make meaningful changes, and move toward greater psychological, relational, and overall well-being. I approach counseling with curiosity, respect, and an appreciation for the experiences and identities that shape who you are, drawing from a variety of approaches to meet your individual needs. Talking with someone about the parts of life that aren't going the way you hoped can feel uncomfortable. You don't have to have everything figured out before reaching out. If you're looking for a place to better understand yourself, explore what's getting in the way, and consider what might come next, I'd be glad to work alongside you.
